Sour Cream-Free Guacamole

Today, I have one of my most favorite recipes EVER!!!!!IMG_2884

Love is not a strong enough word to describe my feeling towards avocados. I put them in my salad, on my sandwiches, and in this recipe.

This recipe is so easy and is free of  dairy, tree-nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, gluten, and eggs! It is a great appetizer when served with tortilla chips or vegetables and could even be after-school snack!

Guacamole

Ingredients

2 Ripe avocados

1 Teaspoon cumin

1/2 Teaspoon sea salt

Juice of half a lime

Directions

1. Mash the avocados until smooth, or until desired consistency is reached. (Normally I cut mine in half, take them out of the skin, put them in the bowl, then cut them in half again. I find they are easier to mash that way.)

2. Add the cumin, salt, and lime into the avocado mixture and mix until well blended. (I find it beneficial to cover the guacamole and let it sit in the refrigerator for about a half-an-hour before I serve it.)

3. Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
